CALLING ALL SINGERS AND MUSICIANS! We are looking to add voices to our Parish Choir and instrumentalists to our weekly liturgies. Choir details: We meet each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM and sing at 9:30 Mass and most Holy Days. We are looking for all voices but are in particular need of male singers. Reading music is not a necessity or requirement - just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! All other musicians: We are always looking to supplement our musical offerings at St. Ann's. Strings, woodwind, brass players - join us! Perhaps you played in your high school band and are looking for an opportunity to play and serve your church - here is your opportunity! Additionally we are looking for cantors to lead all weekend liturgies in song. Consider sharing your musical gifts with our church! Feel free to reach out to our music director, Pete Solecki, at email@example.com or speak with one of the cantors after any Mass with any questions.
2018 Mass Intentions - We are now accepting Mass requests for the calendar year 2019. Since the earliest days, Holy Mass has been offered for the dead. Our prayers, but especially Holy Mass, assist those who have passed on attain heaven. Also since its earliest days, the Church has offered Mass for the intentions of the living, especially the sick. Many of you ask for Masses to be said regularly for deceased loved ones, and some ask that these Masses be offered on specific dates. Your special requests will be honored to the extent possible and we do our best to accommodate you, but we ask for your patience and understanding in this regard. Scheduling begins in late October so it is important that requests be received by October 15, 2018. If you would like to be informed of the dates and times of your scheduled Masses, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope, a phone number or an email address so that we can contact you. There are some openings for mass intentions for the remaining of 2018. If you are interested, please contact the rectory at firstname.lastname@example.org or 654-5519. The stipend for each mass is $10.00. Thank you and God bless you.
