In 1991, I graduated from Wilmington University with a Master’s Degree in School Instruction. My teaching career has been spent working with elementary and special education students for 32+ years in a public school.

My family has a long history with the Diocese, as my parents and grandparents were members of St. Elizabeth Parish. I am a life-long member of St. Elizabeth Parish as well, having attended 12 years of school there. I have one child, a son named Jake. He attended St. Matthew’s, and All Saints Catholic School. He is now a junior at Charter School of Wilmington.

Reading Support

Mrs. Kathy Watson

Reading Support

The mission for the Reading Support program at St. Ann School is for any child with reading challenges to have the opportunity to enhance or develop stronger reading and comprehension strategies that will make them more successful learners. The goal of our program is to increase a child’s confidence by offering them a place where they learn that their “challenge” may well be a hidden gift, not a burden. Our program’s mission extends beyond the student as a source of support for their parents as well.
