St. Ann School Leadership transition - Mrs. Stacy Solomon will conclude a three year term of service as principal of St. Ann School on June 30th. We thank Mrs. Solomon for her student-centered leadership rooted in the example of her Catholic faith. Her leadership led to integrated technology, faculty empowerment, and successful Middle States re accreditation of our school for seven years and the first in the nation Program of Distinction recognition for our Early Childhood Program for ages 3-5. We are grateful for the milestone accomplishments achieved under her leadership and her reverence for the traditions of St. Ann's that make our school a caring and faith filled community. We wish you God's blessings as you begin a new chapter in your life. You will always be part of the St. Ann's family.
Speaking of family, we welcome Mrs. Pat Grant as Mrs. Solomon's successor as principal effective July 1st. Mrs. Grant joined our faculty as 6th grade teacher last year and is very much a part of our community. She is a St. Ann parishioner of many years, whose two daughters graduated from our school. She was a classroom volunteer, parent member of previous Middle States evaluations and a teacher and administrator at Ursuline Academy. Mrs. Grant, a graduate of UD with a BA in Chemistry and MA in Education most recently worked for the Delaware Department of Education's Charter Schools Office. We welcome her to leadership and look forward to her sharing her long history of the knowledge, traditions, and commitment she brings to St. Ann's School. ---- Father Mink
