The eighth grade has been keeping busy with their service project, Chairs for Charity. Each eighth grader designs and paints a chair to auction off for a charity of their choice. This year, the students chose the B+ Foundation which raises money for children with cancer. They thoughtfully picked this foundation for their beloved teacher, Ms. Carmen, who has dedicated her life to helping children. Some of the masterpieces included themes like Broadway, Winnie the Pooh, The Secret Garden, Cheers, the TV show, hobbies like fishing and a Delaware chair. This year our students raised over $2000. We are extremely proud of our eighth grade and will miss their spirit as the go on to high school. We wish them the best of luck.
