EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM IS A "PROGRAM OF DISTINCTION"
St. Ann School is the first school in the nation to receive the Middle States Association's Program of Distinction in Early Childhood Education for our PreK3, PreK4 and Kindergarten Programs.
The Program of Distinction recognizes St. Ann School's dedication to early childhood education through a rich, child-centered philosophy and best practices focusing an exploration, questioning, creativity and social-emotional development as well as literacy and numeracy. According the MSA-CESS president, "St. Ann School is offering exceptional education for the youngest children in its school, and we are honored to be able to formally recognize school leaders and teachers for their commitment to early childhood education."
The Middle States Association has published a case study of St. Ann's Program of Distinction in early childhood education. You can read the study here.
Congratulations to Mrs. Stella-Carlton, Mrs. Bradford, Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Tsaldaris, Mrs. Albensi, Mrs. Stewart and all of the support staff to their program. The 2 year process was extensive. We could not be prouder of these teachers and what they do for our youngest students and their families!
